Solent Sailing Weekend
If Team Building and Race Days sound a little too hectic, why don’t you take your clients or staff on a yacht for a day or even a weekend?
You can cruise in luxury and style to some of the most picturesque ports and anchorages that the Solent has to offer. Beaulieu, Yarmouth and Cowes are all within a comfortable sailing distance and once there, they boast many good restaurants or pubs for eating out.
So what will your weekend comprise of?
If you opt for a weekend, you will join the boat on the Friday evening and enjoy a welcome drink and a short briefing before going ashore for an evening meal.
Next morning, you will be served with bacon rolls or Danish pastries with tea or coffee, followed by a safety briefing by the skipper.
Then you’re under way … sail out into the Solent to head wherever you want to go. A delicious buffet lunch will be taken at anchor in one of the many rivers or creeks that adorn this stretch of water.
The evening will be spent ashore with a meal and well deserved drink!
The last day will find you making your way back to Portsmouth Harbour at a leisurely pace and stopping somewhere idyllic for another buffet lunch.
On both days you will experience some exhilarating sailing and will also be given the opportunity to handle the yacht – but only of you want to!
Once back inside Portsmouth Harbour and moored up on your jetty, your weekend will be finished off with a glass of champagne before setting off for home. |
